Our work helps improve millions of lives.We hope you’ll see yourself here, too.What you find at Beckman Coulter —and within yourself — might just change the world!The Senior QC Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for self-managing the QC testing of products and raw materials in accordance with the appropriate procedures, the review of results to provide a free to fill status, final QC release and the generation of COA’s in a timely manner, to satisfy Supply Chain and Real Time Stability commitments and requirements, as appropriate. You will be a part of the QC Group and report to the QC Supervisor.   • Take ownership and responsibility for various departmental tasks to include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Self-managing the QC testing of products and raw materials in accordance with the appropriate procedures, the review of results to provide a free to fill status, final QC release and the generation of COA’s in a timely manner, to satisfy Supply Chain and Real Time Stability commitments and requirements, as appropriate.

  • Responsibility for generation of investigational test data to support Out of Specification (OOS) issues and the initiation of NC reports with QA, if necessary.

  • Ensuring laboratory equipment in use is calibrated and that calibration records are completed and filed as required

  • Co-ordination of departmental 6S activities.

  • Co-ordination of rotated laboratory duties including; - calibration, temperature chart monitoring, maintenance programmes, managing laboratory disposable stocks, housekeeping, waste management etc.

  • Co-ordination of QC analyser maintenance.

  • Oversight and co-ordination of departmental Change Controls.

  • Co-ordination of Deviation Reports, in a timely manner, as necessary

  • Ensuring that Good Laboratory Practice and appropriate safety requirements are adhered to.

  • Preparation and update of QC procedures as required.

  • Liaison with relevant departments with respect to existing products and new product transfer activities. Departmental representative on cross-functional teams.

  • Ensuring training records are maintained and updated, as necessary.

  • Training of and the provision of support to fellow team members.

  • Deputising for the QC Team Lead to attend cross functional meetings, as necessary.

  • Any other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the QC Team Lead / Senior QC Manager. Education & Experience ·Science/Engineering Bachelor’s Degree

  • Good working knowledge of GMP & Quality & Safety standards.

  • Minimum of 5 years laboratory experience to include demonstrated experience with standard laboratory equipment.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Proven skills with respect to record keeping with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience and competency with standard IT packages.

  • Level 8 Bachelors Degree in Science or relevant discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years laboratory experience to include demonstrated experience with standard laboratory equipment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Proven skills with respect to record keeping with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience and competency with standard IT packages.
