The Team Lead Production Operations - Evening Shift for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the filling activities of Immunoassay and Blood Virus ensuring high quality, safe and efficient Reagent kits are produced.This position is evening shift and is part of the Immunoassay (IA) team located onsite in Lismeehan, O'Callagahan's Mills, Co. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Create a positive employee relations environment and facilitates high engagement within the Fillpack production team.
Lead / participate in / implement continuous improvement activities, e.g. DBS/Muda reductions initiatives, WCM techniques and practices
Manage and prioritise work allocation/production to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels (such as booking work orders and pickslips) to ensure schedules are met within the agreed timeframe.
Actively mentor team members, to enable them to ensure quality standards and expectations are achieved (such as line clearance, audits etc.).
Review relevant paperwork for compliance and maintains GMP and Quality Systems Regulations at a high level within the department through the involvement of all associates.
Provide training to Associates on procedure and documentation, setting Associates up for success by providing training, coaching, feedback and support.
Provide leadership and direction for the advancement of GMP activities
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree (Level 8) with 2 or more years relevant experience
Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated capability in problem solving skills
Proven ability to lead a team to deliver strong performance
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Quality Systems knowledge and experience of interacting with auditors
Use of Oracle or an Equivalent ERP system
You will work from:
4.00p.m to 12.00a.m Monday through Thursday; and
3.00p.m -10.00p.m. Friday.
