Introducing your new team and the setup
The job is a role located in Clare, Ireland, where we are investing in and developing our logistic setup.
We are building a strong team to hep succeed with our transportation strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager Transportation EMEAI and collaborating with our Transportation Analyst and Transportation Specialist peers you can expect to find qualified colleagues to help succeeding.
Key tasks summed up
You can look forward to providing financial and administrative support to the EMEAI Transportation Team by handling the following key tasks:
Work with the third-party freight audit company
Process transportation invoices
Support with transport budgeting, monthly accruals and forecasting process
Maintenance of the data warehouse (Microsoft SQL), a/o:
Upload carrier costs reports into SQL
Upload carrier on time performance reports in SQL
Upload freight audit data in SQL
Preparing and submit the daily / weekly / monthly transportation reporting (in Microsoft Power BI) relating to costs, quality and service to internal colleagues
Follow up with carriers to submit accurate reports on time
Updating monthly initiative trackers
Archiving carrier rate cards, confidentiality agreements, carrier proposal, routing guides, service level agreements, etc.
Utilize DBS (Danaher Business Systems) by applying Daily Management and Problem Solving to everyday work
Proactively address concerns and needs of your customers and collaboration partners
Support and work together with your colleague, Sr. Transportation Analysts EMEAI in:
Identifying and presenting opportunities
Development of new metrics
Perform a variety of other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
Understanding of our internal and external customer requirements and ability to collaborate broadly in a Global Logistics team
Great computer aptitude, including PC skills (MS Excel, and MS Word) and the ability to navigate extensive data warehouse
Education related to economics, accounting, logistics and/or information science
Minimum two years relevant work experience, a plus
Comfortable and able to thrive with a high level of autonomy and work independently and flexible in a cross-functional matrix managed team environment
Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate personal and project-based priorities
Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
Demonstrates Beckman Coulter’s vision, values, and principles and displays integrity and ethics in all interactions
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently, additional language a plus.
The following qualifications would be a plus
Experience with ERP’s
Experience with Freight Audit platform
Experience with SQL Server, Sharepoint and PowerBI
Experience in supply chain / transportation environment
