*Position Overview: *

KaVo Kerr is searching for a Labeling Graphic Designer. This role will be a key resource for the project management, modification and implementation of market driven package and label changes. The core element of this position is to translate or transfer inputs from various product designs into compliant and implementable art on finished goods specifically for EPA, FDA and EU mandated initiative.

This position requires strong motivation, and both sense of professionalism and sense of humor when faced with clients and staff under pressure. You will need to be able to handle constructive feedback and take creative direction. You’ll also need the ability to keep a strong sense of balance and organization when faced with daily and ongoing project deadlines since the job entails attention to multiple, and often competing priorities. You’ll need to be very comfortable with production since you’ll be responsible for proof reading, red-lines, labeling processes and graphics arts, barcodes, labels, inserts, Instructions for Use (IFUs), cartons, etc. The right person will feel that this is a highly rewarding environment.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *

•Possess expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. •Protect sensitive and proprietary information, including but not limited to unreleased information about product launches and formula ingredients. •Collaborate with Document Control partners to ensure art files comply with pre-press standards and final print quality is consistent and desirable on the package or label. •Verify and organize a variety of content assets such as dyelines, barcode numbers/UDI, Reference numbers, icons, symbols, images, label copy, disclosures, product label language, translation files and ensure all content is correct and current prior to Project Manager review and server Electronic Change Order (ECO) upload. •Ability to engage in label development activities and label project strategies by collaborating with various business units in a fast paced environment. •Utilizes available technologies such as Esko software, Master Control Quality Management System, iMeet and/or Workfront cloud system, BOX file sharing cloud system, and network systems to manage communication on project scope, risks, and timelines. •Help with the organization and daily maintenance of asset library of logos, photography, key artwork, and other elements used in association with document control. •Performs table top photo-shoots as needed.

Qualification
*Qualifications: *

•Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Communications. •3 years of design and/or Packaging labeling experience for a regulatory industry



*Desired Qualifications: *



•A good mix of Design and Production skills. •Professional experience in the medical industry or wellness industry. •Working knowledge with IFU production in foreign languages. •Exceptional skills in the use of Photoshop and image manipulation. •Understanding of pre-press processes including color techniques. •Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities. •Extensive working knowledge of Adobe suite graphic design software. •Strong ability to manage various projects at same timelimes. simultaneously. •Outstanding organizational skills. •Familiarity with UDI, GHS and ISO standards. •Have proven problem-solving skills. •Be proficient in Macintosh OS/PC environments
