Position Overview:

Through strong understanding of the true needs and expectations of the customer, The Sr. Manager, Global Marketing, Non-HealthCare Alternate Sites/POC will work cross functionally to support a Developed markets customer-centric segment strategy that aligns with organizational objectives to meet/exceed business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, deliver, and execute upon strategic marketing plan by driving the upstream (3-5 year) commercial, product and service strategy to ensure growth in the Alternate site segments.

  • Build Alignment between Regional Segment Marketing (RSM) and Global Product Management (GPM) Teams by partnering with RSM, Global Product Mktg, MedSci, RD, GPM, Sales and Operations

  • Develop positioning and messaging for Cepheid and its products for key Alt. Site Segments by actively engaging customers by building and testing messaging (i.e. Retail Pharmacy Clinics, At-home, OTC)

  • Define market development strategies for the Alt. Site Segments.

  • Define optimal customer experience for the Alt. Site Segments by conducting extensive VoC to build a comprehensive customer experience definition for the target segments, socialize the findings and drive and action plan to execute.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience and/ or Master’s degree with 6+ years of related work experience and/or Doctoral degree in field with 3+ years of work experience.

  • Significant experience in conducting VoC and interacting with diverse customer sets is required

Physical requirements/abilities:

  • Role requires frequent travel of up to 30% and may include some international travel

  • Must be able to sit for several hours during business travel.

  • Work may involve repetitive arm/wrist motions.
