Danaher Corporation Account Manager – Chemical in Osaka-shi, Japan

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute a sales action plan that to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and orders targets as assigned by FTAP management. To provide monthly forecast based on assigned and developed accounts for both Shipments and Orders 20%

  • Expand the business by gaining market share in the existing accounts by establishing strong relationships with end-users and customer management and successfully promoting all Pall technologies and capabilities to new accounts. 30%

  • Provide technical support (leveraging Technical Specialist where needed) in various chemical process technologies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations. 10%

  • Position, present and demonstrate Pall’s system and consumable technologies within customer process development and manufacturing groups in collaborations with technical specialist team. 10%

  • Identify customer capacity expansion opportunities for further development by technical specialists and support them to complete the sale. 10%

  • Participate with various functional groups within Pall (Pall Process Systems, Scientific & Laboratory Services, Marketing, Product Management, Inside Sales, etc.) to assemble and direct an effective team strategy so that customers’ needs are addressed in a timely manner and sales opportunities are won. 10%

  • Report and communicate all business opportunities, solution concepts and strategies to Pall management through use of CRM. 10%

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field.

  • 7 - 10 year work experience in sales role 5-year minimum Sales experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Work experience in chemical industry will be an advantage

  • Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities

  • No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members

  • Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents

  • Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies

  • Candidate shall completely follow PALL ethical policies & code of conduct

  • Shall be adaptable to changes happening for company’s growth

Other Requirements

  • Ability to develop high level customer-focused relationships

  • Ability to function in a matrix environment and to cooperate with a number of teams

  • Good English communication skills will be an advantage
