Data Engineer will implement and manage our data warehouses and lakes, develop pipelines for ETL process, monitor data integration, and help implement data strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented, expert data system technician, and top-notch data analyst. Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure.
This is a fully remote role that can be located anywhere in the US.
Analyze and organize raw data from different sources.
Manage and monitor all cloud (Azure) and on-prem data resources.
Build data systems and pipelines.
Evaluate data related to business needs and objectives.
Interpret data trends and patterns.
Build data predictive modeling and algorithms.
Research emerging technologies.
Partner with development for tooling existing database schema and future enhancements.
Partner with data analysts and business reporting teams.
2+ years of experience in data engineer or similar role
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or relevant work experience
Knowledge of programming languages a plus
Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Experience with SQL server administration and database design
Experience with Azure Cloud base Data Lake/Warehouses
Experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory/ Synapse
Practical experience generating process documentation
Working knowledge of SDLC processes.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Ability to think critically and analytically
