Job Description Summary

Responsible for developing production/supply plans that consider forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity. Is responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans. May also be responsible for providing materials to manufacturing areas based on planned production schedules and for the appropriate shipping of finished goods to various distribution centers utilizing material handling equipment in support of management policies for customer delivery and inventory levels. Includes planners and inventory control roles.

This position is part of the Supply Chain Management department located in Pensacola, FL and will be Onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you'll do

  • Based on customer demand create production plans to meet OTD target while managing production plans and defining optimal levels of Finished Goods safety stock.

  • Use continuous improvement methodology to Identify and execute projects to reduce inventory and maximize the benefit to the site.

  • Develop the planning process through application of continuous improvement methods to ensure accurate MRP data (lead times, ROP, SS) for all raw materials in SAP and in Kanban are maintained.

  • Produce applicable daily reports for key critical areas highlighting the level of control and escalating issues appropriately.

  • Lead and support supply chain projects initiatives.

    Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in a life science, healthcare and/or pharmaceutical environment; or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a life science, healthcare and/or pharmaceutical environment; or similar combination of education and experience.

  • Prior experience in SAP, Oracle and other similar systems.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound judgments.

  • Able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with managers, coworkers, and vendors.

  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodology and demonstrated ability to drive results through application.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
