The Quality Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for interfacing with internal and external customers when quality related topics arise. This individual will continuously assess quality capabilities for both product and processes. This position is part of the Quality Assurance department and will be located in Pensacola, FL.

This position is part of the Quality Assurance department located in Pensacola, Florida and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive internal PPM improvements using iDT&R (Internal Defect Tracking & Resolution)

  • Drive external PPM improvements using CDT&R (Customer Defect Tracking & Resolution)

  • Support product and process validation activities

  • Lead Quality related Kaizen events for your respective value stream.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing to reduce scrap for your respective value stream

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. (Engineering, Technology or Life Sciences)

  • Prefer 3+ years quality engineering experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DoE (Design of Experiments)

  • Working experience with ISO 9001 and knowledge of ISO 13485. ISO 9001 Auditor certification is preferred.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of Veeva QMS and Magic systems.

  • Experience using Six Sigma tools or holding ASQ or Six Sigma certifications.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
