About the Technical Project Lead role:
The Technical Project Lead – Specialty Oxidant Biocides provides support to the ChemTreat field sales representatives as needed throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Learn the SpecOx programs (Chlorine Dioxide, Monochloramines [Ammonium Bromide & Millicide (Ammonium Sulfate)] and Surf Clean. Programs include safety, chemicals, equipment, economics, and how to feed.
Available for field sales assistance to include plant surveys, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and customer/prospect entertainment with the involvement of our field sales representatives.
Provide field troubleshooting and technical assistance as required to include problem-solving, sales representative on-site training, operator training, and equipment inspections.
Become proficient with ChemTreat portable field equipment, including the Hach meters, ClO2 generators, and monochloramine generators.
Provide office support function when not traveling to include telephone assistance, proposal, and drawing proofreading, bid preparation, etc., as requested by our office clerical staff.
Travel required: 25-50%

Are you qualified?
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in the water treatment industry
Communication and Interpersonal skills; Teamwork and leadership
Organizational skills; Self-management
Technical and in-depth knowledge of chlorine dioxide, mono-chloramines, and/or other specialty oxidant biocides
Good professional skills
Proven experience in one or more key industries involving boiler, pretreatment, and open process cooling water treatment
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
