The Lab Sales Specialist is responsible for hospital/reference laboratory sales in designated territory (US and Canada). This position will work closely with the Sr. Training Specialist and Marketing to develop collateral and messaging. Relationship building through professional associations and ability to achieve/outperform annual budget forecasts.
This position reports to the Director, Specialty Markets and is part of the Specialty Markets Sales team working remotely and can be based out of Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ or Seattle, WA.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Call on hospital laboratories to sell Plasma/Low Hb System.
Assess opportunities to help drive laboratory efficiency and articulate the advantages of in-house testing.
Establish contact and build relationships at the laboratory manager/director level.
Exercise good judgement and strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals across multiple sales territories.
Maintain accurate and timely account strategy and opportunity planning information in Salesforce.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree.
5 + years experience in hospital lab sales.
Knowledge of Point of Care testing market with focus on hemoglobin and hemolysis.
Proficient use of a CRM to manage business.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel 60% within territory.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Previous experience selling Plasma/Low Hb System preferred.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
