The DBS (Danaher Business Systems) Leader provides training and implementation of DBS through the utilization of kaizens and total associate involvement and to identify and implement continuous improvement activities to reduce cost, improve quality/productivity and standardize work processes.
Think of this role as a Continuous Process Improvement Leader who works with various areas of the business to support their goals and initiatives by helping them leverage specific process improvement tools. Get exposure to wide areas of the business with high visibility and even greater impact!
Essential functions & responsibilities
Planning, facilitation, and implementation of kaizen activities
Assist in achieving Policy Deployment (PD) and Strategic Plan objectives
Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and the change management process
Assist site / company Leadership in the development of a DBS Roadmap (i.e., how to use the DBS tools to drive sustainable improvement in results).
Directly provide training of DBS tools to all associates
Ensure successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process (includes planning of kaizens with a dynamic funnel process tied to PD and Daily Management, kaizen execution and (3) sustainment of kaizens).
Communicate and drive “Best Practices” across the business and facilitate Danaher leadership benchmarking sessions
Work with DBSO to schedule events and get needed resources and help Danaher continue the evolution of the DBS tools (maintain contact with DBS Office or DBSO).
Benchmark and incorporate best practices from other Danaher locations.
Integrate the ISO Quality Process into the DBS process
Develop staff in DBS culture to meet business performance criteria
Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools (MBB process for self and others).

Familiarity with various manufacturing processes
Exposure to and participation in a variety of training environments preferred
Project management experience
