Our team of Product Specialist will collaborate with Global Service to develop and deliver industry leading product support for Pall products. This team collaborates with new-product-development (NPD) teams to train field service associates and provide customer concern management. This role requires being onsite at our facility in Westborough MA.

Core Responsibilities – Technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME)

  • Lead and tackle technical and product related system issues.

  • Develop exceptional level knowledge of existing systems from hardware perspective and acquire applications knowledge to aid in problem diagnosis.

  • Learn and become overall system subject-matter-expert (SME) on Pall products.

Core Responsibilities – New Product Development

  • Develop creative and effective product support strategies, creation of service manuals and service procedures for new products and existing product updates.

  • Provide guidance to development projects as a customer and service advocate. Ensure design-for-serviceability is adopted for all new product development (NPD) projects.

  • Provide recommendations to design and test methods for verification of all service procedures.

  • Actively engage in NPD early-response-teams for product introductions to bias product success using Danaher project management tools.

Core Responsibilities – Training

  • Develop training materials, course curriculum, course learning agenda, and course presentation materials for the servicing, repair, installation, PM, and calibration of Pall systems.

  • Deliver product service training classes to Pall Field-Service support personnel.

  • Collaborate with service instructors to develop, maintain, and implement product technical skills-standards for use in training classes.

  • Maintain accurate and timely record keeping of service training classes (students enrollment, student completion, technical skills standards, post-training completion surveys, associate and management feedback).

  • Collaborate with service management and Global Product Support service instructors to ensure standardize use of global training content delivery and training completion records.

  • Maintain assigned Pall training systems and local classroom facility. Deliver training via a variety of mediums to include : Instructor Led Training at Pall Training Centers, e-Learning, Webinars, on-demand learning methods and customer sites as required

  • Be compliant to all safety, quality and regulatory requirements such as: ISO, GMP and FDA.

  • Collaborate with all partners using DBS tools for ongoing process improvement. Solicit feedback from participants to be used as part of DBS Continuous Process Improvement.

To Be considered for this position, the ideal candidate should have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical and / or Laboratory Science; Electrical or Mechanical Engineering ; Computer Science or Systems Engineering. Master’s degree is a plus

  • Two or more years professional experience in Engineering product support for manufacturing, Bio/Life Sciences or Aeronautics industries and / or Educational Internship , Co-Op or similar experience

  • Clinical laboratory experience or familiarity with large molecule pharmaceutical manufacturing processes a huge plus.

  • Experience training and supporting Field Service Engineers

  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to learn quickly and use critical thinking to provide solutions to internal customers.

  • Highly adaptable, self driven with excellent troubleshooting and Problem Solving skills.

  • Strong technical curiosity to comprehend technical product training content.

  • Strong MS Office skills

  • Ability to work onsite at Westborough MA .
