Danaher Corporation Sales Education Program Leader in Port Washington, New York

Pall Corporation has a growing $500M+ fluid technology and asset protection (“FTAP”) filtration business that sells into industrial applications. Pall is looking to hire a Sales Education Program Leader to support our growing business. This individual will work across many departments and with many partners to ensure that the training developed by the organization meets the needs of the sales functions in the Americas selling unit.

Responsibilities include:

  • Align sales training vision with Pall’s sales goals and objectives. Obtain partner support for imperative training initiatives. Understand sales’ goals, formulate objectives, determine priorities, adopt a short- and long-term view, and recognize opportunities to accomplish training objectives.

  • Develop, implement, and sustain programs/curriculums that meet Pall’s organizational and sales team needs. Apply concepts, principles and practices related to planning, evaluating and administering training, organizational development, as well as creativity and innovation.

  • LMS Commercial leader. Supporting the administration of the Company's Learning Management System (LMS) (e.g. reporting, course assignments, maintenance of completion records, Management-in-Training program, etc.)

  • Continually evaluate sales training programs and processes to figure out whether training is meeting business needs and improving organizational performance and efficiencies. Drive training decisions, actions, and communications across the selling unit based on assessment and evaluations.

  • Oversee sales training and competency matrix. Identify training gaps and work with regional sales managers to make recommendations for remedial training programs as necessary.

  • Oversee the team’s mentoring program including: registration, training, committee, matching, record-keeping, and surveys.

  • Manage and coordinate training program for channel partners in collaboration with distribution team, marketing, and subject matter experts.

  • Select and handle resources, (associates, materials and vendors), involved in developing and delivering learning initiatives.

  • Ensure tools are procured for new and existing hires, including onboarding material and guides.

  • Maintain training records.

    Desired Education, Experience, Skills

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Master’s degree with a concentration in training and development is preferred

  • Professional certification, such as Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM), is preferred

  • Danaher Train the Trainer qualified trainer certification (TFTI) is preferred

    Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Management or Training Management

    Skills:

  • Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design philosophies, strategies, and theories

  • A consistent track record of training program development and management

  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Visual daily management

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge and experience with learning management system (LMS), Adobe captivate preferred

    Travel:

    30%-50%. International will be required.
