Pall Corporation of Port Washington, NY is seeking a creative and ambitious Scientist I, with a passion for polymer chemistry, surface modification and membrane science to join our R&D team. This is a phenomenal career opportunity to take an active role in discovering and developing next-generation porous filters for micro-electronic applications, such as cell phones and tablets.

As a member of the Pall Industrial R&D Team, you will contribute to the advancement of Pall's membrane science platform through innovations in polymer chemistry and surface modification.
This role is lab based where you will plan and conduct experiments using analytical instrumentation: SEM, GPC, FT-IR and Instron. Keeping the laboratory notebook updated and communicating findings to the team in written and oral format.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minimum 1 year of experience
Strong knowledge base and understanding of polymer chemistry, polymer material science and polymer processing and characterization
Knowledge and expertise in porous membranes
Ability to work in highly collaborative cross-functional environment
Experienced detailing and communicating research findings and/or performance testing results via detailed technical reports
Ability to work independently highly essential, Good data analytical skills
