About the Regional Sales Manager role:
In this role, you will identify business opportunities by finding prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. Not only will you sell our products by establishing contact and developing relationships with those prospects, but you will also recommend sound solutions. You will cover Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Missouri, and Montana.
Maintains relationships with current customers by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Are you qualified?
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree a plus
5+ years of successful water treatment or equivalent experience, preferably in a fast-paced business environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build trust with a large and diverse environment; Approachable and able to form long-lasting relationships with others on behalf of the business
Experience working with sales account databases and CRM Platforms, ideally Salesforce
Industry knowledge specific to water treatment processes and technical applications, UV and filtration a plus
Travel required: 50-60%
Self-motivated with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to proactively identify a strategy’s key success factors, obstacles and develop practical solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $90,000 per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for a sales incentive plan.
