The Senior SAP Solutions Architect (PP/MM) will be responsible to design, implement and support new business capabilities into Cepheid’s SAP systems and related third party systems! You will also lead or participate in local or global projects across Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Control, Production Supply and related processes including interfaces with MES (Manufacturing Execution System). The applicant is expected to drive continuous improvements and SAP best practices in support of the company vision and roadmap.
This position is part of the IT Global Business Services team and will be located at our Manufacturing site in Lodi, Sunnyvale, CA or USA Remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Configure SAP PP/MM modules (or other modules as needed) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other SAP modules such as WM in a manufacturing environment.
Lead implementation projects as project manager in alignment with Cepheid IT’s methodologies and governance model.
Partner with business users to drive continuous process improvement through SAP solutions and integration with other manufacturing systems.
Design, implement, support interfaces with other peripheral system applications such as MES.
Establish relationships with Manufacturing, Supply Chain (Planning, Procurement, Production stockroom and other related functions) and Quality departments locally in the Lodi area sites and globally.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Business, (or related) or the equivalent in work experience.
8+ years in the Information technology profession, focused on ERP design and management.
8 + years of experience primarily in SAP Production Planning module and secondary expertise in Materials Management (including Inventory Management) module, with broad exposure to other interfacing modules
Experience in SAP configuration and business processes in Manufacturing, Warehouse Management and Materials Management areas.
Experience in design and implementation of interfacing SAP with external MES systems, as well as related business processes.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
SAP PP module certification.
Healthcare or life sciences industry with management of validated systems in an FDA regulated environment.
Interfacing SAP with other external systems.
