We are looking for an experienced, energetic Life Science Software Sales Representative for our Mass Spectrometer business. The Software Sales Rep is responsible for driving revenue and orders growth within a designated territory. This role will support Software Standalone sale. Software sales may include but are not limited to Software upgrades, Software Licenses, Workstation Upgrades, Software Support plans, Software Validation and Compliance Services and Training. This role will support existing customers, new customer acquisition, source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow –up and outbound cold calls and emails. May work with distribution channels for increased sales.
This position is part of the Aftermarket Inside Sales Team and will be located in Remote supporting our organizations vision to Advance human wellness through the power of precise science.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Create and sustain a trusting partnership with customers to drive full solutions to meet their software needs.
Partner closely with colleagues in field sales and field service to develop and implement successful account strategies to provide value added selling that provide synergistic growth in our mass spectrometry business.
Increase Software Sales by promoting campaigns, digital marketing, sales organization activities, and customer inquiries.
Participate in various projects as assigned by manager for growth opportunities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience
2+ years of successful experience in direct sales is required.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned geographic territory/accounts forecast and targets through selling skills, promoting campaigns, digital marketing, sales organization activities, and customer inquiries; and effectively learn and manage all stages of the sales cycle
Knowledge of analytical methods, techniques, and workflows from various customer environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate our value proposition to customers, based on changing customer needs.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Must be able to obtain a valid passport and/or valid Driver's License:
Travel up to 30% overnight may be required
Meeting Vendor Credentialing requirements are an essential element of this position (vaccination requirements such as Hepatitis B/C, or others as required by our vendors).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Considerable understanding of our LCMS Instrumentation and how software supports our products.
Understand customer organizations by market vertical, department, function, and key programs.
CRM Experience (Salesforce, SAP, Zoho)

The salary range for this role is $70,000- $80,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
