We are looking for an experienced Product Support Engineer to join our global group of service professionals!

This position will focus on supporting all aspects of Pall Biotech. Responsibilities will be split into three core sections:

Technical Expertise

  • Lead product-related technical escalation on system issues providing support to Field Service Engineers.

  • Develop expert level knowledge of existing systems from hardware perspective and acquire applications knowledge to aid in problem diagnosis.

  • Develop as overall system subject-matter-expert (SME) on Pall products.

New Product Development

  • Develop creative and effective product support strategies, creation of service manuals and service procedures for new products and existing product updates.

  • Provide expert recommendations to development projects as a customer and service advocate. Ensure design-for-serviceability is adopted in NPD projects

  • Effectively engage in NPD early-response-teams for product introductions to bias product success using Danaher project management tools!

    Training

  • Develop training materials, course curriculum, course learning agenda, and course presentation materials for the servicing, repair, installation, PM, and calibration of Pall systems.

  • Deliver product service training classes to Pall Field-Service support personnel.

  • Collaborate with internal service instructors to develop, maintain, and implement product technical skills-standards for use in training classes.

  • Maintain accurate and timely record keeping of training classes (students enrolment, student completion, technical skills standards, post-training completion surveys, associate and management feedback).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent working experience.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
