We currently have an opening for a Seed Hire within our Global Operations Team. "Seed" hires are typical at Danaher; they allow us to bring in great talent ahead of a business need for future roles.
This role is designed with growth and development in mind. You will be in line for fast track development within Pall Life Sciences whist actively driving significant project growth.
Drive Operational Excellence through Danaher Business System (DBS);
Prepare, implement and monitor a long term business plan as part of the overall Pall KS Operations plan for the substantial growth of profits in cooperation with the other operations leaders;;
Lead management team to ensure the objective KPI’s are achieved in accordance with the sites annual targets based on the overall Life Sciences Global Operations organization;
Establish performance measurement metrics to continuously drive operations to a higher level of excellence;
Initiate projects as directed by Operations senior leadership to develop production technology and to support capability expansion, in close partnership with R & D, technical sales and engineering to meet customer expectation and market needs.
Position Education & Proficiencies:
BSc/MSc or equivalent in Biochemical engineering, Process engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent;
Financial acumen associated with profit/loss responsibility;
Ability to communicate optimally on sophisticated technical issues at the highest level;
Ability to recruit, lead and develop a high-performance manufacturing organization;
Excellent teammate, able to build and sustain organization respect and trust at all levels;
Operational Excellence & process improvement know-how, skilled in the areas of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc;
Travel will be up to 75%.
