Goal of the position:
Pall have a range of products that have been designed to deliver specific unit operations within the Biopharmaceutical drug production process. We are currently gearing our technology to develop industrially designed solutions that offer reduced complexity and intuitive operation. This program looks at how systems operate either independently (as ‘modules’) or as part of a system where multiple modules are operated in sequence. Particular attention is paid to interfaces and the work flow between the different unit operations. The scope includes hardware and disposable systems along with the relevant automation and controllers.
The Project Manager will lead a project and team members to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to budget.
Main duties: * To plan, manage and deliver assigned projects to agreed time and budget constraints; * To prepare and implement mitigation plans to overcome any constraints or risks to key metrics; * To lead team members in project planning and execution; * Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project metrics to team members and stakeholders with attention to risks and issues; * To implement and support continuous improvement actions and best practice project management.
*Qualifications: * * Minimum degree or equivalent in a science or engineering discipline; * Professional Project Management Qualification. *Experience: * * Outstanding Project Management skills with proven track record of delivering complex projects on time. Experience in the use of project tools within an R&D project management highly desirable; * Experience of biopharmaceutical manufacture, process related technology or Biotech engineering highly desirable; * Experience of product design including disposable and hardware systems highly desirable; * Knowledge of automation and electrical cabinet design and electrical drawings; * Knowledge of process, equipment and component validation; * Knowledge of EC machinery directive and other regulatory requirements; * Strong technical problem solving skills; * Hands-on approach with experience of prototyping; * Strong Leadership skills, working with people and taking responsibility for issues whilst also being capable of working as a team player in a cross functional team; * “Can do” attitude to focus self and team on project delivery. Focused and results oriented with a strong sense of urgency; * Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills; * Willingness to occasionally travel to visit team members, suppliers and customers; * Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.
