Who you are:

This person is a technical authority in several technology / process areas and they provide technical solutions to meet business unit strategy. This person exhibits expert technical leadership and influence at a regional or global level. Whilst this person will make a deep individual contribution they will also support and advise the wider technical community. They should be a good role model and mentor and coach others as required.

This person is a Technical authority in several technology / process areas

Has a strong network of contacts with industry experts and manages multiple technical collaborations with external customers, academic institutions and industry bodies on a global basis

Stays up to date with scientific research and industry practices and works with strategic leaders to assess and advise on new technologies of interest to the business

Manages projects and maintains technical oversight across multiple projects.

Works in a collaborative manner in cross functional teams and proactively works through complexity and roadblocks, assisting groups of scientists / engineers deliver complex projects.

Communicates effectively through technical reports and presentations to internal and external groups, including senior management levels.

Writes peer reviewed publications and presents at scientific conferences.

Drives innovation.

Champions and mentors others on the use of DBS tools and activities.

Complies with all company policies and procedures, e.g. code of conduct and safety compliance.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

· Deep technical understanding of current and future trends in strategic technology areas

· Project management

· Problem solving

· Credibility with customers, key opinion leaders, internal stakeholders

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Extensive filtration knowledge in Biotech processes.

• Including direct flow filtration, clarification, sterile, virus and tangential flow filtration.

  Education/experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering. Master’s Degree or PhD preferred.

  • 15 years relevant experience of Biotech processes and working in a regulated industry
