Pall nurtures your career and due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Supply Chain Planner (EMEA) who will work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance) across US, Asia and Europe to handle the demand/supply of finished goods to EMEA. You will have the opportunity to drive process improvement in multiple areas such as inventory management and demand/supply management.
As Supply Chain Planner, you will have the following responsibilities;
Determine optimal finished goods inventory level to achieve OTD (On Time Delivery) target across EMEA
Use data driven analysis, mathematical modelling and sound inventory management fundamental to determine optimal finished goods inventory across EMEA
Acquire consensus from regional commercial leaders on the planned finished goods inventory, the associated risks and the corresponding lead time expectations
Partner with product management and operation team in product life cycle management.
Work with Supply Management team to ensure timely arrival of replenishment supplies Develop tools to better optimise inventory and improve planning efficiency
Manage inventory ageing and obsolescences
Minimise likelihood of inventory obsolescences through accurate finished goods management
Identify ageing inventory and seek inventory reallocation opportunities globally
Negotiate terms for inventory reallocation
Work with local supply chain teams to complete inventory reallocation
Ensure accuracy of Supply Chain related system parameters
SAP master data
Various analytics tools such as QlikView and similar bespoke systems
Handle intercompany freight activities to achieve financial targets
Analyse cost drivers and evaluate the tradeoffs across various freight modes
Recommend improvement to freight policies with consideration to inventory and OTD impact
Recommend and implement inventory management strategies
Adhere to Global and EMEA and make recommendations to improve the inventory management framework
Prepare monthly demand planning related reports and recommend actions to drive improvement
Prepare monthly key performance indicators report
Provide root cause analysis
Cross functional Process Improvement and implementation
- Proactively find opportunities for improvement and develop and implement processes.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing. You will be IT literate and be able to learn new systems quickly. Additionally, you will have the following attributes;
Experience in Material planning systems to include MRP, Demand Forecasting, production Scheduling and Inventory Management.
Excellent IT skills - Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP).
Knowledge in SAP or similar ERP systems
Knowledge of Supplier management.
Purchasing and Commercial Awareness.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
