Danaher Corporation Upstream and Fluid Management Applications and Testing Team Leader in Portsmouth, United Kingdom
The Upstream and Fluid Management Applications and Testing Team Leader for Cytiva is responsible for leading a group of Upstream applications experts and test engineers that focuses on single-use bioreactors and large-scale mixers. The role will focus on leading this group to support in-market products and new-product development teams through developing and publishing applications know-how on bioreactors and mixers. Additionally, the role will develop excellent relationships with functional partners such as product management, product marketing, technology development, and field applications specialists globally, with the objective of continuing to expand influence and leadership of the team.
This position is part of the Upstream and Fluid Management R&D team located in Portsmouth, UK and will be hybrid. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Lead a group of 6 applications experts and test engineers.
Provide subject-matter expertise to NPD teams, field applications, and customers.
Build a culture of delivering as promised and of managing resources to identify critical needs and to deliver high-impact results.
Build the influence of the group within the Upstream community and across partner business units.
Lead in day-to-day management of the group’s project deliverables and resource allocation.
Grow individuals on your team to provide each associate with career paths that suit their aspirations.
Who you are:
Education: BS or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
Functional experience: 5 years expertise working in a bioprocess environment
Leadership experience: 3 years
Strong understanding of bioprocessing
Experience with new product development
Experience in developing biopharma projects and working in a highly regulated industry
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Resource management to optimise productivity with available resources
Project management
