We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to work with our expert UX Design team of 15 employees across the world. This position will be based in Uppsala-Sweden or Portsmouth-UK, with the option to work fulltime in our one of our design studios or enjoy a hybrid work schedule. What you’ll do

  • Perform UX Design activities including user research, UX/ UI design and UX audits across the range of products by following a structured UX design process.

  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design.

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

  • Maintain strong bias towards empathetic design that serve users and considering technical, financial or scheduling limitations judiciously.

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.

  • Working with product owners and engineering team, and communicating the design with project teams cross Cytivas development sites in US, UK, Sweden and India

  • Work collaboratively with engineering & development teams for translating the design concepts into successful implementation and judiciously negotiate and trade-offs involved.

  • Work with other specialists to evaluate whether your design will fill need from a producibility and cost perspective.

  • Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to internal clients for feedback and approval

  • Advocate for and uphold new standards for UX design and quality within the organization

Who you are

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in UX Design or equivalent

  • 4 to 8 years of work experience with at least 3 years’ experience with UX/UI Design for Web and Desktop applications

  • Profound understanding of design principles, product and software development processes and a developed aesthetic sense

  • Ability to interpret relevant design trends and consumer insights in to compelling, brand appropriate design concepts

  • Ability to effectively review designs and research reports to provide clear recommendations

  • Hands on experience with designing end to end user experience using Wireframes using any industry standard tool.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to change as designs and processes improve over time.

  • Proven track record in creativity and problem-solving evident from work samples/portfolio

  • Good analytical skills and self-initiative to learn product needs, tools with an ability to take direction while offering strong initiative.

  • Active listening, , presentation, and communication skills are necessary.
