We are looking for a Vice President of Operational Excellence / DBS (Danaher Business System) will be responsible for the development and implementation of continuous improvement programs and strategies.

In this role, you will collaborate with the SVP Operations and the functional Operations VPs to set a 3-year DBS strategy and build out action plans and measures to execute and track progress. This will focus on supporting the improvement safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity in Operations by leading the education and effective use of DBS tools to drive sustained change/improvement in all Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics and Distribution processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create Pall Operations DBS plan and develop kaizen roadmap to support achievement of Global Operations safety, quality, delivery, productivity and inventory objectives.

  • Develop global operations DBS structure and organization.

  • Build training roadmap process for operations associates to include targets for education, kaizens, coaching and Certified Practitioners.

  • Create and sustain a network of DBS champions and leaders.

  • Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching.

  • Facilitate other DBS training sessions when appropriate.

  • Ensure productive kaizen events Promote and facilitate diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide expert counsel on appropriate tools to eliminate them.

  • Create and lead process to manage global kaizen funnel and drive global DBS execution and standards.

  • Actively support President Kaizen week by coordination and facilitation.

  • Travel to operations sites and coach and give feedback on improvement opportunities.

  • Travel up to 70%.

Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including adjusting content and style for various audiences.

  • Ability to successfully influence multiple partners and lead cross-functional teams, driving results!

  • Strong organizational, analytical, project management and team building skills.
