The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.

This position is part of the Technical Service and Application Department located in Poland and will be fully remote. You will be responsible for installation and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment in south part of Poland, hence the ideal location is Poznań/ Kalisz .

You will be a part of the Technical Service and Application Team and report to the Field Technical Service Supervisor, responsible for managing installation and maintenance of Beckman Coulter products in Poland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct service, repair and/or installation of our products, as well as IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts.

  • Make diagnoses of the system failures and settles most effective solution.

  • Raise complex issues to higher level of technical support or quality reporting system.

  • Develop new customer service/product agreements.

  • Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Technical knowledge and experience within Medical Devices/ Diagnostics in service maintenance area (or in other highly regulated industry)

  • BS.C in Engineering (Bioengineering, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical). Medical Devices expertise

  • Ability to drive a car and be flexible with working time - more than 50% of travelling is required.

  • Proficient English and Polish.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Logical and creative thinking and problem-solving approach

  • Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods to perform a variety of activities

  • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
