To expand our team in Paris/Massy (France) or Prato (Italy) we are looking for a
Inside Sales Representative – Technical & Training Services
Essential Job Functions:
Perform direct selling of X-Rite services via proactive outbound telephone activity to new & current customers for technical service related to:
Customers who bought hardware/software recently where X-Rite hardware are no longer under factory warranty, the renewal of service contracts that are approaching expiration dates or have already expired.
This includes sale of the following contracts: a. Hardware Service Contracts, for on-site service b. Hardware Service Contracts, for depot service (instruments to be sent in) c. Preventative Maintance including certification d. Software Support Contracts e. X-Rite Training on-site f. Classroom Training g. Online Training
Maintain regular communication with the technical and training services management team in order to improve processes on selling new service contracts as well as administering sold training events (schedule trainers, confirm travel expenses with customers, collect training acceptance documents after training was done, triggering invoicing with the order admin team).
Maintain good communication with Field Sales Representatives when promoting service products to existing customers within a given territory, to avoid conflicts of interest.
When appropriate, maintain and grow sales partner distribution relationships that ensure X-Rite products and services are promoted within the sales partner aftermarket channel. This includes providing literature, product introduction overview, training resources, pricing and promotional activities.
Develop and maintain daily plans to maximize and leverage phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to territory hours and metrics and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect issues.
Update and input all prospect, customer, key tasks, communication and opportunity information into SalesForce.Com for accurate data management forecasting and funnel management.
College degree required and equivalent of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in industrial sales, customer service or technical support including selling over the phone
Ability to offer and sell to the customer paid options such as extended warranties, service contracts, support contracts or trainings
Ability to learn and understand technical product and software applications
Goal oriented, self-starter motivated by metrics and the achievement of goals
Proven track record at achieving revenue quota, measurable goals and selling to a technical (IT) audience
Fluent in French or Italian and English (written and spoken).
Proven interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) for frequent contact with internal and external customers which foster customer satisfaction
Proven organizational skills; ability to set priorities and work independently and interact in cross functional and international environment
