Position Objective

A Production Operator II is proficient in the set-up, start-up, continuous operation and shutdown of the assigned manufacturing equipment and processes using adherence to Standard Work Instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices and current Good Documentation Practices

Essential Job Functions

  • Operate production equipment to manufacture product per standard work

  • Follow a weekly schedule and communicate potential production issues to manager in a timely manner.

  • Read, follow, and support the training of other associates on Standard Work (SW).

  • Complete all documentation and follow all GDP guidelines related to manufacturing processes in a timely manner.

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in department

  • Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks

  • Follow all practices and procedures regarding safety and quality compliance including OSHA, cGMP, ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

  • Push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Good reading and writing skills

  • Good communication and social skills

  • Basic math and computer skills

Position Competencies & Other Requirements

  • Demonstrates safety first mentality

  • Detail and Quality focus

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic PM’s

  • Ability to use communication skills to exchange information

  • Kaizen, 5S, and Daily Management experience preferred

  • Experience in an ISO or cGMP environment preferred

  • To work safely and to comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (EHS) policies and procedures
