The Account Manager – Territory (Carolinas Area) is responsible for developing and cultivating productive long-term relationships with customer’s key decision-makers to achieve orders and revenue projections. The Account Manager should work to identify new opportunities to build profitable market share and competitive advantage, creating new value for new and existing customers who operate in the Oil & Gas and Refinery, Chemical, Polymer, Petrochemical and General Industrial markets.
This position is part of the Pall Corporation Energy+ Commercial Team and will be a remote position in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina area and must be based in the territory. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Identify new opportunities to build profitable market share and competitive advantage, creating new value for new and existing customers who operate in the Oil & Gas and Refinery, Chemical, Petrochemical, Polymer, and General Industrial markets.
Utilize product and application sales tools (including success stories, customer presentations, installation lists, return on investment calculations and sample proposals) to drive sales of new products and applications.
Maintain a strong, regular customer presence with multiple face-to-face customer interactions each day.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years’ experience in providing products and services to Refinery and Oil & Gas, Chemical, Ag-Che, Polymer, Petrochemical, and General Industrial industries OR 2+ years’ experience as a process/project/maintenance engineer in an Oil & Gas, refining, and petrochemical facility looking to start a career in technical sales.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
· Ability to travel – 75% travel, 30% overnight, within North Carolina and South Carolina
· Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
· Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Preferably in mechanical/chemical engineering, chemistry, biological sciences, or technical degree.
Outstanding presentation, negotiation, troubleshooting, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Prior experience with sales funnel management (salesforce.com or equivalent).
Experience executing at each stage of the sales process and adept at guiding others in developing selling skills.
Understanding of customers’ key business drivers.

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $120,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
