In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for oversight of direct reports including hiring, training, personal development, performance management and career discussions.

• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors.

• Ensure direct reports are trained to use new equipment and software, and on all work instructions; and support troubleshooting and problem solving.

• Ensure customer orders are processed safely, correctly, efficiently and on time.

• Ensure that all required daily checklists are being utilized by direct reports and perform verification for others when necessary (e.g., shift/cell, cleaning tasks, etc.).

• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of quality (QMS) and environmental management systems (EMS) by being aware of and reporting changes that may affect QMS and EMS related aspects, actions, and objectives of the relevant department, assist in related actions and management programs as required.

• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) in a lab environment.

• 2+ years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bachelor degree in a science/technical related field.

• Previous people leading experience preferred.

• Experience in application of lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, and problem solving in a regulated industry.

This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
