The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong understanding of the biopharma market, including technologies and competitive dynamics.
Senior Global Marketing Role with Broad Scope * Developing and aligning strategic plans * Leading a global direct and matrixed marketing team * Implementing tactical global marketing programs * Driving global demand generation and increasing win rate * Building positioning, messaging and content on multiple platforms
Driving Global Programs * Establish clear links to regional sales and marketing organizations and ensure the execution of programs at local levels around the globe * Establish and implement campaign channel strategy for outbound marketing with strong focus on leveraging digital channels * Work cross-functionally to develop and implement global content and campaigns * Understand regional market dynamics to drive global marketing strategy
Positioning and Messaging * Develop messaging and identity, aligned with the brand hierarchy, business initiatives and strategies * Write value propositions, positioning, and messaging * Write subject matter for core marketing and sales collateral for both internal and external marketing * Drive creation of competitive differentiated positioning based on deep understanding of customers * Grow market visibility and improve brand awareness.
Drive Commercial Results * Develop and execute integrated marketing plans for the launch of new products * Establish and monitor metrics to ensure marketing strategies, programs, and activities are executed effectively and delivering impact * Implement standard work and communications to maintain global and regional marketing team alignment. * Serve as a brand ambassador to align to and strengthen the global SCIEX brand
* 5 years’ experience in life sciences marketing, sales, and/or technical support roles with customer and account experience * Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a Biological or Chemical Science; MS or PhD preferred; demonstrated training and/or experience in marketing, business administration, or related field a strong plus * Broad understanding of separations technology (CE / LC), LCMS and the biopharma market * Clear thinker with the ability to translate market knowledge into impactful and differentiating value propositions, aligned to target customer personas * Strong technical and creative writing skills, with the ability to turn complex concepts into clear and impactful positioning and messaging for sales and marketing content and campaign development * Strong communicator with experience working in a global environment and highly-matrixed organization with cross-functional teams, both directly and remotely * Demonstrated ability in start-to-finish project management, from planning and conceptualization through to execution and metrics-based results analysis * Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and manage competing priorities * Highly motivated and results-driven, with ability to work independently and through effective lateral influencing to achieved desired outcomes * Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and a firm commitment to quality * Executive presence with strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to perform exceptionally in fast-paced, performance-oriented environment * Must be available for a minimum of 25% domestic and international travel
