POSITION SUMMARY:

*NOTE: THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE

The Leadership Development Manager (LDM) will support the North America Regional Team and lead the development and build capabilities of the organization by elevating team effectiveness to drive the customer experience. The LDM will maintain a healthy leadership bench through frequent communications with associates at all levels within the Americas Customer Care organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert with in-depth experience in leadership development design leveraging design methodologies and application that yield successful performance results

  • Strategize and deploy regional Customer Care leadership trainings to further capabilities within the organization

  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience team, Global Learning & Development team, HR Business Partners, people leaders, individual contributors to assess needs and roll out learning programs and other solutions to develop performance, leadership or team effectiveness

  • Deliver live or virtual workshops on a variety of learning topics

  • Develop learning materials (e.g. decks, workbooks, case studies and simulations)

  • Build meaningful relationships across the organization

  • Support employee retention at the organizational, company and corporate levels

  • Engage employees in professional journey mapping and career development conversations

  • Define customized individual career progression and development plans in relation to Customer Care Organization

  • Regularly assess internal talent and provide continuous feedback to management to fuel internal talent development program

  • Develop and oversee experiential and action learning to provide leaders opportunities for learning in between formal training experiences

  • Identify associate training opportunities, partner with internal and external training resources to implement leadership and individual development curricula

  • Ensure all program content and materials are kept updated, enhanced and relevant to enhance the impact of learning solutions

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience (in years):

  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 7+ years of related work experience

  • Master’s degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience

Knowledge and skills:

  • Proven ability to quickly build trusted relationships at all levels of an organization, from Individual Contributors to Senior Executives

  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to adapt to change, proactively manage risks, clear roadblocks, and effectively communicate end-to-end program health

  • Successfully manage and lead program in a hybrid in-person/remote work environment

  • Experience using Business software to include: MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Conferencing Applications (MS Teams, Zoom)

  • Advanced problem-solving, conflict resolution, active listening, and time management skills

  • Experience with analytics and understanding of support metrics and KPIs

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal oriented and time-sensitive environment

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7 to 10 Years experience in talent acquisition and/or established leadership development program

  • 3+ Years of blended instructional design experience including assessing needs, partnering with subject matter experts, designing experiential learning content and programs, facilitating live and virtual courses and measuring outcomes

Other:

  • Travel to Cepheid office locations (10%)
