POSITION SUMMARY:

Capture, document, and convey production issues from floor associates. Coordinate resolution of issues, documentation of enhancement requirements and execution of user testing between IT and functional users. The associate will document process observations and recommend process improvements based on the operations floor observations and associate interactions. The associate will assist in application testing as needed.

SCHEDULE: 8-5 with occasions for meetings outside of this window

TYPE OF ROLE: Onsite

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate hands-on communications and interactions between operations associates and IT

  • Perform basic troubleshooting as required

  • Support users in basic operation of IT systems

  • Time will be split between office work and on the floor work.

  • Track system issues and prioritization of enhancements

  • Learn system dependent processes and recommend improvements

  • Assists with action plans, root cause and countermeasures.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS Diploma required; Associates or Higher would be nice.

  • Proven aptitude in understanding systems and troubleshooting issues

  • Strong organization and follow up skills

  • Experience in related manufacturing, distribution, order management or related fields preferred

  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills required

  • Minimal travel may be required
