Join our team as our new Senior Human Resources Business Partner where you will implement and support strategies and programs to enhance the effectiveness of leaders and the productivity and engagement of associates within Microbiology Operation, & Service Organization . You will help optimize relationships between associates and Beckman Coulter, linking human resources strategies to business objectives, working towards an engaged and effective workforce, and ensuring compliance processes, policies, and labor law. You will have the opportunity to counsel and advise your assigned clients on a variety of topics including talent management solutions, performance management, associate retention, development, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
This position is part of the Beckman Coulter Microbiology team, located in Sacramento, CA and will be an on-site, position with onsite presence at least 5 days / week. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Counsel leaders on creating an inclusive and engaging work environment. Partner where needed in executing against engagement action plans, coaching leaders through situational leadership and seeking opportunities to bring more awareness to diversity & inclusion topics.
Build and execute the Associate Value Proposition for client groups, retaining and engaging our current associates and expanding our reach in our local communities.
Conduct employee relations investigations and consult with managers and counsel on outcomes and next steps. Partner with internal employee relations COE on more complex situations and seek guidance and support where needed.
Report monthly metrics to HR leadership and client leaders, drives to ensure that countermeasures are in place when not hitting targets, and drive/participate in problem-solving processes as required to implement countermeasures.
Develop leadership in the assigned Client Groups partnering with peers at other sites to build and execute client-facing LD programs. Facilitate training and development programs including both leadership and onboarding courses.
Lead special HR projects and running HR Programs.
The essential requirements and skills of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience or master’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement environments, analytical skills are critical, converting data to information, then to strategy, execution, and sustain the change.
Strong conflict resolution skills and a solid background in conducting investigations.
A Human Resources background spanning all aspects of the discipline, including employee relations, learning & development, talent management, and recruiting.
The salary range for this role is 75k to 110k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
