Danaher Corporation Manager, Talent Development - REMOTE in San Francisco, California
We are looking for a Manager, Talent Development! The Manager, Talent Development will be a member of Danaher’s Global Talent Management team. You will be responsible for driving talent development and engagement across the organization through talent planning, talent development, associate insights and engagement, performance management and enablement, and organizational effectiveness! The team enables associates and Danaher Leaders to develop, engage, retain and deploy the best talent to grow our business and grow excellent careers through DBS. Using a future-focused, agile design approach the Program Manager will use modern approaches built around the 70-20-10 model of development with thoughtful use of technology and hybrid approaches to help leaders accelerate their growth and impact in building and enabling teams through DBS.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Program Design & Execution – Support design, execution, and sustainment of innovative, future-focused development experiences, grounded in DBS and our 70-20-10 approach to development, that accelerate DBS capability and readiness for roles of greater scale, scope, and complexity. These include existing formal programs for mid-level leaders and functional leaders, as well as future development experiences that integrate DBS, Gemba-based experiential learning, coaching, peer learning, digital learning, and external partners, as appropriate, in the most effective hybrid design.
Facilitation and Trainer Sign-Off – Facilitate Train-The-Trainer and participant-facing programs/modules as a “best in class” example. Build Certified Trainer process and community, including individual trainer coaching and sign-off. Share standard methodologies, tips, and tricks with newly certified trainers.
Nominations Process – Lead and implement the program nominations process in partnership with Platforms, Operating Companies, and regions to ensure fair and equitable access to current and future leaders. Partner with Talent Planning, D&I, and other stakeholders to ensure the process is integrated with existing talent processes, is efficient and effective, and accelerates the development of future leaders across Danaher.
Danaher Faculty Support – Demonstrate and partner with Danaher Faculty as key enablers to leader development programs and experiences. Assist with expectation setting, preparation, and support required to ensure Faculty is ready and enabled to provide exceptional learning experiences for leaders through formal programs and informal development opportunities.
Leadership Conferences – Participate as a key member of Danaher Conference Event Team to design and deliver high-impact leadership conferences in partnership with DBSO, Corporate Communications, enterprise functional leadership teams, and regions through live, virtual, and hybrid events. This includes the annual Danaher Leadership Conference (DLC).
Virtual/Hybrid Expertise – Provide “Center of Excellence” knowledge and expertise on virtual and hybrid development experiences in consultation with Operating Companies, Platforms, regions, and functions across the enterprise.
Operations Excellence, Measurement and Continuous Improvement – Measure uptake and impact of development experiences and use Danaher’s Problem-Solving Process (PSP), Customer Insight Tool, and other DBS Tools to continuously improve programs and solutions that meet leadership development needs, help Danaher drive business results, and attract and retain the best teams. Use Workday Learning and other relevant technologies or systems to support measurement, uptake, and delivery. Support and enable other Corporate Human Resource and/or enterprise Talent Management projects as needed

Able to adjust and respond, where appropriate, to ensure enterprise programs and approaches support local needs. A resourceful, critical, self-confident, individual who possess a combination of mental flexibility, creativity, analytical ability, and sound judgment.
Program Management – Focused and proficient at initiating, planning, implementing, controlling, and measuring large-scale initiatives with a distributed and diverse, indirect team to achieve specific goals and results.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology or related field required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 5 years of work experience in learning or development-oriented roles.
Experience with Microsoft Office products: PowerPoint; Excel, Word, and HRIS systems including Workday.
Global experience is required
Previous expeircne with a large enterprise is a huge plus
30-40% (depending on location)
certifications in prosci or adkar prefered
