The Senior Sales Specialist for Life Sciences will develop and execute successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory. Work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations.

Major Responsibilities

  • The Senior Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory.

  • Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.

  • Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.

  • Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies.

  • Utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance.

  • Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews).

Required Education, Experience, Skills Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in biology/life sciences OR equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5 years relevant sales (or equivalent experience)

  • Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software

  • Ability to travel 50-75%

Desired Education, Experience, Skills Education:

  • Prior capital sales experience

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $110k-$130k base. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
