ROLE SUMMARY

Do you want to be an integral part of a growing and diverse team? We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our US Sales team. This remotely based position can be in the San Diego, CA or San Francisco, CA area as a preference.

As an Account Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to solve some of the hardest challenges in emerging and global biopharma companies and their contractor manufacturers (CMOs)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively promote and educate targeted accounts on the use of Skyland PIMS® products through one-on-one meetings, group presentations and company-approved industry conferences, etc.

  • Work in the field each week as needed, supported by office time for call planning, customer follow-up, preparing presentations, making appointments, report generation, etc.

  • Ensure solid performance levels of call and field productivity. Achieve regional sales goals while adhering to all defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations

  • Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across departments and co-promotion alliance partners. This includes appropriately managing/maintaining all company equipment and company-approved promotional materials (e.g., sales materials, company literature, etc.) according to defined company Compliance guidelines

  • Ensure regional sales strategy execution using annual regional business plan and call activity reports

  • Accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses and written reports and within deadline as defined by Sales Management

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Typically has 2+ years of experience & can navigate a 12–18-month sales cycle

  • Accustomed to dealing with complex deals and multiple stakeholders, including VP and C-level decision makers

  • Experience with a sales methodology, Challenger Sale preferred

  • Scientific and Scientific Sales background, with Life science sales preferred

  • Experience in process development and/or manufacturing within the biopharma products/industry

  • Ideal candidate will have experience with Manufacturing Intelligence systems or solutions such as Discoverant, Statistica or MES
