The Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the commercial team, providing valuable insights through data analysis, enhancing strategic decision-making, and driving business growth and efficiency.

This position reports to the Commercial Finance Sr Manager and is part of the Finance team located in San Jose and will be an on-site role.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Develop and maintain regular sales performance reports and dashboards for senior management including leaderboards, pricing, and orders to go.

  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies and initiatives. Work closely with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales processes.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Review and approve quotes to protect margins and ensure compliance. Manage the demo approval process with a focus on driving ROI while ensuring compliance with Danaher policies.

  • Manage commercial OPEX budgets, analyze expenditure trends for cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with departments to optimize spending and productivity.

The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in sales analysis, business analysis, or a related role.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, powerBI, Hyperion HFM).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Intellectual curiosity and the ability to dive into problems

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00-110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
