Beckman Coulter Life Sciences' Global Commercial Marketing team is looking for a Solutions Content Strategist to support the development and deployment of storytelling content through off- and online channels to promote our products and solutions. An ideal candidate has the ability to partner with Product and Marketing Managers to understand the intended use of planned content and provide counsel regarding what to develop, how to package and recommendations for channel utilization in order to best engage appropriate audiences a various stages of the buyer’s journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient writer. Able to adapt style to medium and tone required to convey complex scientific and clinical data in a clear, concise, and compelling manner

  • Write clear and persuasive copy for website, landing pages, banner ads, PPC ads, email cultivates, brochures, and other means used to engage our customer base

  • Coordinate, prioritize and multi-task a variety of writing and proofreading assignments

  • Validated ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and lead projects to deadlines

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver creative concepts and messaging that persuasively convey Beckman Coulter Life Sciences’ value propositions and achieves marketing objectives in a timely manner

  • Participate in brainstorming and creative concept meetings; Collaborate with content team to translate strategies outlined in creative briefs into engaging concepts and copy for various business units.

  • Demonstrate standard methodologies for effective concept and messaging development and measurement

  • Ensure quality in messaging consistency and execution by proofing partner and own content

  • Familiarize self with products and services, and target audience to build and adapt copy to the appropriate target customer and vertical

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Advertising or similar and at least 3 years related experience

  • Experience writing for the life sciences, medical, diagnostics, pharma, or healthcare industries is preferred

  • Ability to partner with Marketing and Product managers to concept, shape and plan writing assignments to achieve specific objectives

  • Experience and affinity for writing content for websites, email nurtures, PPC ads and other online channels

  • Experience taking existing content and adapting it for use across multiple channels

Essential Behaviors

  • Experienced using creative briefs, persona driven content strategy, competitive analysis, daily management, positioning and lead cultivating

  • Strong written skills including ability revise, edit, and proofread content as needed. Adept at working within and developing brand guidelines and messaging standards.

  • Accustomed to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Validated ability to understand sophisticated, abstract science-based subjects and express them in a straightforward, consumer-friendly way
