Diversity Talent Strategist

What you'll do:

You will have responsibility for developing strategies to identify and attract under-represented external talent. You will provide a high touch service to candidates going through the recruitment process with the goal of growing our representation of diverse talent at all levels across the organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to determine future talent needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels (both domestic US and internationally) where we can find the best, diverse talent.

  • Foster, drive and launch D&I recruitment & staffing initiatives.

  • Cultivate a pipeline of diverse talent including using job postings, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, and recruitment campaigns leveraging our talent brand.

  • Source and screen passive diverse candidates to evaluate qualifications, consult with the hiring manager to present candidates, and assist in the interview and selection process as directed.

  • Partner with recruiting team to ensure diverse representation is supported on all candidate slates.

  • Provide regular reporting on the flow of diverse talent for client groups, identifying any teams needing additional counter measures to improve diverse hiring effectiveness.

  • Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition and D&I hiring.

Job Requirements

  • 3-6 years sourcing or recruiting experience from a corporate environment or search firm/recruitment agency including experience using CRM tools.

  • A passion for direct sourcing and discovering talent.

  • Proven experience with developing successful and innovative recruitment strategies specifically engaging diverse talent.

  • Ability to think creatively to find and attract the best talent in the market.

  • Ability to work with minimal direction and comfortable with ambiguity.

We’d love to see:

  • A passion for direct sourcing in life sciences with experience in medical device or the diagnostics space.

  • Experience in a dedicated role focused on diversity recruiting.

  • Understand sourcing and recruiting metrics and how to utilize them to influence hiring decisions.
