As a Master Scheduler you will be the single point of contact for fulfilling all instrument shipments. You will work closely with global Operations, Sales, Service, Warehouse, Marketing, and Finance teams to coordinate instrument shipments from the point of instruments being forecasted until the instruments have shipped. You will own creating build plans each quarter based on sales forecasts, and will be responsible for achieving continued reduction in PSI inventory levels month to month. You will also be expected to drive continuous improvements in the existing processes and tools used in this role.

Global past due <= $175k
Global shippable backlog <= $850k
San Jose PSI inventory <= $1,154k
Coordinate and lead communication with global teams to meet instrument order and demand fulfillment
Lead PSI meetings with production and sales leaders
Attend PSI-related production meetings and Sales forecast meetings
Respond to emails sent to company’s general “Planning” mailbox
Own OEM 13 Week Build Plan
Generate monthly reports (PSI-related, Past Due, Shippable Backlog, Shipments, etc.)
Run Daily Order Status meeting during month -ends
Maintain file of instruments shipping each month; to be reviewed during daily stand up meeting
Track destination orders each month to ensure arrival in time for revenue recognition
Maintain constant communication with sales leaders as needed for instrument order fulfillment questions
B.S. in Business or related field is required
2 years of relevant work experience in the Life Sciences industry
Proven experience managing complex tasks in a fast paced environment
Advanced skills in Excel and Oracle
APICS certification desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Results oriented with a track record for delivering results
Takes ownership and is accountable
Works collaboratively and effectively with associates in all levels of the organization
