Do you love solving technical issues? As a Global Technical Support Engineer you will collaborate with Global Service delivering product support for Life Science Acoustic Automation systems by: supporting field service troubleshooting, providing issue management, supporting product life cycle management for existing products, and driving design for serviceability through participation in new product development!
Provide troubleshooting support to field service associates during on-site visits to promote customer up-time
Lead Technical and Product Line partner concerns of product related technical system issues
Develop expert level knowledge of existing systems from hardware perspective and acquire applications knowledge to aid in problem diagnosis.
Develop creative and effective support strategies, guidance to service manuals and creation of procedures for new products and product update
Recommendations to development projects as a customer and service advocate
Recommendations to design and test methods for verification of all service procedures
Ensuring all safety, quality and regulatory requirements are in compliance with standards and agencies such as: ISO, GMP and FDA
Collaborate with all partners to utilize the Danaher Business System for ongoing process improvement.
Undergraduate degree in engineering or science.
Minimum 3 years’ relevant industry experience, biotechnology preferred
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Exceptional communication (verbal and written)
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated track record of achievement
Proven track record in and commitment to continuous process improvement
International and domestic travel is required approximately 25%.
On time resolution of technical critical issues
Customer satisfaction as measured as business aggregate including compliance, product quality, reliability, after sale cost of support/ownership, and net promoter scores.
