Danaher Corporation Technical Advisor I - Remote in Sandy Springs, Georgia

What will I do in this role?

The primary role of a Technical Advisor I is to provide world-class service and support to all internal and external customers via the inbound call center. You will be successful through mentoring and leadership within the department, and by having an advanced understanding of Oracle, products and applications, soft skills, vertical markets, and sales lead identification.

What are the additional duties?

  • Identify and manage customer concerns, utilizing cross-functional relationships to negotiate ‘win-win’ solutions

  • Handle all level of incoming technical and customer support questions from internal and external customers providing timely, accurate answers

  • Provide efficient, technical troubleshooting support for online Hach systems and related Hach software

  • Understanding of PLC and other data collection software/systems a plus

  • Responsible for contributing to the development of Technical Support Knowledge Base

  • Act as a liaison between Technical Support and all cross-functional departments to relay Voice of Customer (VOC) and drive continuous improvement

  • Identify sales opportunities and understanding of the industries, vertical markets, and products

  • Submitting leads to drive appropriate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to the customer

  • Establish a long-term customer relationship with thorough follow-up and contact

Am I qualified?

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Preferred aptitude for working in mechanical and electrical principles, Environment Sciences or equivalent required

  • Experience in one or more of Hach’s key markets (drinking water, wastewater, or industrial) preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, technical support, field service, and/or Supervisor experience required

  • Prior call center experience a plus

  • Knowledge in order management, customer support, and technical support processes

  • Must have the ability to make customer-related decisions and respond quickly to customer needs

  • Proven computer efficiency; Experience with MS Office, Salesforce and Oracle preferred

  • Ability to adapt to changes in expectations, metrics, and environment as business needs demand

  • Organizational skills; Multi-tasking

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

The hourly rate for this role is $20 - $22. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
