The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) based out of Radiometer America headquarters in Brea, CA or Carlsbad, CA will utilize their proven background in Human Resources (HR) to support the company, management and associates with strategic HR initiatives and challenges under the leadership of the HR Director and with other HR team members. As the Sr. HR Business Partner, you will advise and take the lead on initiatives to enhance leadership competence and organizational development to ensure the best possible organizational performance to achieve our business goals. This may include development of managerial staff, consultation, and coaching activities for managers on an individual or group level. You can expect some degree of hands-on HR related tasks as well.
Handle a broad scope of responsibilities supporting managers and directors and while maintaining a high service level in daily deliveries as HR partner
Able to raise the bar for HR services from transactional to transformational-focused involving coaching, mentoring, succession planning, talent management, & enabling leaders’ growth from good to great
Ensure regional HR legal compliance for different requirements including federal labor law, Affirmative Action Planning (AAP), Global Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR), Equality Employment Opportunity (EEO), etc.
Support Director of Human Resources in crafting training and learning interventions to ensure on-the-job learning, coaching, mentoring and formal training in order to have robust development plans for all associates
Be the liaison with headquarters to champion and ensure that implementation of corporate processes are effectively and efficiently conducted, such as objective setting, engagement, compliance trainings and Diversity & Inclusion
Lead the investigation process from intake, through investigation planning and execution, to case building and resolution
Mentor managers to evaluate associate performance up to and including verbal and written warnings, performance improvement plans and separation if vital
Owner of department Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and reporting
BS/BA degree or equivalent required. Preferred subject areas in HR, Business Administration, Labor Law, Interpersonal Psychology or similar. Master’s degree/ MBA will be preferred
Demonstrated Human Resources experience (10+ years) within most HR areas including talent management, performance management, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), compensation and benefits including multi- state responsibility.
Ability to analyze complex matters and translate them into well-structured and executable solutions
Proven record of coaching, change management and business partnering experience to leaders on all levels of organization
Experience in Lean Principles, Project Management and Change Management is a plus
Extensive knowledge of federal and state labor laws (CA in particular)
Primary language English. Spanish also preferred
Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), iOS/OS skills, and internet skills; database and HRIS experience (prior Workday/ADP experience preferred). You will be provided a company phone
20% Travel or greater
