Review and negotiate contractual language between Danaher WQ Latam Opco's and their customers, suppliers, partners, consultants, and others. Draft reports and work in internal procedures for review and approval within Opco's of contracts and legal documents. Provide legal support on regulatory matters and on compliance investigations. Provide special and focused legal support on strategic business.
Analyze and negotiate contracts between the company and suppliers, customers, partners, consultants, and others; Partner with field and corporate sales, purchasing, and others to understand and deliver contract needs; Identify and track key performance indicators to drive improvements; Draft reports and work in internal procedures for review and approval within Opco's. Provide legal support on regulatory compliance and on compliance investigations.
Manage and oversee a database of all executed, active and expired contracts; Manage changes for contracts and coordinate all interested parties; Act in capacity of Opco liaison with customer purchasing department to establish mutually acceptable terms and conditions when issuing new contracts. Draft reports and work in internal procedures for review and approval within Opco's of contracts and legal documents.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Law School Degree in a top Mexican or Brazilian (depending on the country) school; Desired 7 year´s experience in Purchasing, Paralegal work in a transactional law setting, or Business Law with an emphasis in contract development and review and with experience with contractual and indemnification concepts.
Legal, Business & Technical knowledge; Strong writing skills; Strong computer skills including Excel and Word; Communication skills and judgment to presents arguments, lead negotiations and influence decisions; Interpersonal skills; Teamwork; Analytical skills; Organizational skills; Self-management.
