The EHS Engineer/DBS-Engineer (f/m/d) is responsible to drive targeted, sustainable improvement in QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and the change management process. Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching.
This position is part of the EHS/Danaher Business Systems department and will be located in Schwaikheim/Greater Stuttgart.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Optimizes organizational performance by enhancing the alignment and efficiency of business processes and by ensuring continuous, sustained improvement across the enterprise through the implementation of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies. Includes focus areas like Innovation, Growth, and Lean. Includes DBS trainers.
Supports the site in EHS. Deals with the planning, implementation, control and optimization of operational processes in the areas of health protection, occupational safety and environmental management.
Hold a quarterly health and safety committee
Ensure successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process (includes; (1) planning of kaizens with a dynamic funnel process tied to PD and Daily Management, (2) kaizen execution Danaher Corporation Position Description Statement 2 and (3) sustainment of kaizens).
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor´s Degree in an engineering area or apprenticeship with a technical scope
Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies (if supporting Operations areas).
Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
Mastery of a variety of tools (either Lean or Growth related Tools,
Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view
Fluent in German and a good command in English
