The Clinical Sales Specialist - Medical Devices is responsible for driving growth and achieving sales targets and goals in the given territory. The Clinical Sales Specialist is passionate about selling specific products from Pall’s Medical portfolio which includes Anesthesia, IV and Surgical Smoke Filtration Devices. Responsible for achieving sales projection in the given territory to include anesthesia, IV, and surgical smoke filtration devices.
Ability to maintain and grow existing business.
Build relationships with key opinion leaders.
Initiate new business opportunities.
Ability to rapidly gain knowledge for all Pall Hospital products working with the Pall Senior Scientist, Sales Director, and Marketing personnel.
Essential Job Functions:
Leading the sales process for hospital filtration products to gain commitment for new business – 40%
Technical assistance with conversions and post-conversion technical follow up where needed – 20%
Working with Key Opinion Leaders, consultants to build national support for IV, Breathing, and OR smoke filtration – 20 %
Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Pall Medical specifications - 10%
Participates in sales workshops, sales meetings, and/or promotional activities requested by Sales Manager - 10%
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing - BSN, business or applied sciences from an accredited university
1+ years of proven sales experience
Required 60% travel
Demonstrates computer competencies including Microsoft Office and CRM
Strong business experience and knowledge of the industry
Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Anesthesia Technician preferred
