Danaher Corporation Sr Product Manager Informatics - Partnerships - Remote in Seattle, Washington
The Sr Product Manager - Partnerships is responsible for managing key processes for the development, launch, and commercialization of hospital and commercial laboratory informatics and healthcare IT solutions with third parties. This role will focus on managing a portfolio of existing 3’rd party products, develop a funnel of new partners, as well as work with the team to assess viability of partner solutions. Responsibilities include execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, providing product positioning, training, education, pricing strategies and overseeing the product through the agile development process. Responsible for ensuring that budgets, internal and external customer satisfaction goals are met.

Familiar driving contract discussions with partners.
Familiar with cloud based analytic technology from a customer need perspective.
Familiar with common software concept, continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment
Experience managing multiple SME’s and internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations.
Ability to drive commercialization/launch teams, serving as leader and regional representative on project teams for global product launches globally.
Ability to take complex technical concepts and translate the data into easy to understand and digestible information ·
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams without formal authority through influence and relationships
Provide technical expertise, leadership and direction to business critical departments
Independently identify and analyze the possible impact of competitive/3rd party products and make recommendations as needed
Ability to create and communicate vision of product and evolve product strategy continuously
Establish oneself as a resource to the organization as the product & competitive expert
Drive/assist development of commercialization plans for existing and new products and manage day to day product activities.
Ability to think strategically while ensuring that tactical and operational activities are accomplished successfully.
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
Other responsibilities include:
Create solution and value based sales and marketing tools for product launches
Establish and maintain competitive information by understanding market trends, beliefs, perceptions, behaviors, and scope as well as competitor actions, strengths, weaknesses, and plans
Customer centric; understand the customers’ business, challenges, and goals
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills; demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others; strong team player
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to view change as necessary and be proactive in finding solutions
Good understanding of IVD / FDA regulations regarding medical devices
Qualifications - External
Qualifications and Experience:
Must have a BS or BA degree, Advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10+ year’s product management/global marketing/product launch and/or sales experience in laboratory
Automation, IVD industry or healthcare informatics industry.
- Ability to travel up to 50% - domestic and international travel
