The APAC EHS Leader for Cytiva is responsible for maintaining compliance and implementation of the EHS management system for all non-manufacturing operations including Service Op erations, Commercial, R&D and Lab operations supporting Korea, Japan, Singapore, and India.

This position is part of the Global EHS business operations team. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations.

  • Act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies concerning all EHS issues, understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast site impacts.

  • Drive implementation and validation of Cytiva Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.

  • Proactively drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and programs.

  • Drive improvements in organizational EHS culture, awareness, and accountability.

  • Provide leadership, support, and training to build technical, management and leadership skills of management team in EHS.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor Degree in Safety, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline

  • 10+ years' experience on managing EHS compliance and/or programs in multinational companies

  • Compliance experience with EHS regulations in countries identified

  • Proven project and program management skills

  • Excellent leadership, program and interpersonal skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and other responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on available information

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse, cross-functional, internal and external team across different time zones.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
